7092a0a8f0 - fixed Linux and macOS implementations of I_FindAttr()
At the moment, we assume that dirent struct has d_type member, and DT_DIR is defined
This is true for supported versions of macOS, and Linux with glibc

cc7807bb10 do not expect user input if stdin is redirected
If GZDoom is built on a POSIX system without the GTK frontend and not
run from a KDE session, an IWAD picker is presented on the terminal
and expects the user to select a game wad. However, if stdin is
redirected, this won't work, so start with the default IWAD instead.

2e7af1338c - the big cleanup of the exit cleanup is done!
atterm is gone and only a few system-side functions use atexit.
All game side cleanup is performed in D_DoomMain now.

96006eb94f - moved all exception handling out of the backends
The main catch is now in D_DoomMain, only calling platform specific functions to handle the output for the error.

As a nice side effect, -norun can now be done without an exception, just by exiting D_DoomMain with a special exit code.

d2c156224b - cleanup of the sound init/exit code.
Now there is only one single entry point for both, instead of previously 2 entry and 4 exit points.
This also eliminates the explicit shutdown of ZMusic. Timidity++'s two buffers have been put in containers that self-destruct on shutdown and calling dumb_exit is not necessary because the only feature requiring it is not used by any code in the music library.

338ae15a4c - sanitized exit code a bit
Instead of trying a homegrown way to avoid recursive exceptions, let's do it with the defined procedure C++ has for this case: call std::terminate.

This allowed removing some old hackery inherited from Boom and will now hopefully allow sanitizing the exit procedure to the point that it can be done without depending on exit handlers.

42b9a41421 - removed the longjmp based exception catch/rethrow mechanism and instead force-terminate in case a user exception is thrown while the VM is executing JITed code on a non-Windows system
On Windows none of this is needed, because we can generate a proper unwind frame for the JITed functions, but even on Linux, it would require manual additions to each single piece of native code that ever gets called from inside a JIT compiled function.
This is an utterly prohibitive proposition because it makes direct native calls a virtual impossibility
So, in order to get the thrown error properly presented both I_Error and ThrowAbortException will now forward to I_FatalError if it is called from inside a JIT context.

8627a48b34 - consolidation of 'stat' calls.
Since this is a non-standard function it's better kept to as few places as possible, so now DirEntryExists returns an additional flag to say what type an entry is and is being used nearly everywhere where stat was used, excluding a few low level parts in the POSIX code.

9b87a167d7 - replaced a large batch of DWORDs.
Most of those which still rely on ZDoom's own definition should be gone, unfortunately the code in files that include Windows headers is a gigantic mess with DWORDs being longs there intead of ints, so this needs to be done with care. DWORD should only remain where the Windows type is actually wanted.

9342898361 - Added support for GTK3 (thanks to "MineyMe" and edward-san)
- Replaced GTK/OS X (note different from Cocoa) clipboard code with SDL clipboard API.
- Removed requirement to link to GTK in order to compile with GTK support.
	- GTK is no longer init'd if the GTK IWAD picker is not used.
	- Our usage of GTK is such that the dynamic loader can work with both GTK2 and GTK3 depending on what's installed.
	- Since we're accumulating a lot of library loaders I've built a generic interface as FModule which replaces TOptWin32Proc and the loaders in the OpenAL and Fluidsynth code.

db86385cf6 - removed STACK_ARGS.
The only reason this even existed was that ZDoom's original VC projects used __fastcall. The CMake generated project do not, they stick to __cdecl.
Since no performance gain can be seen by using __fastcall the best course of action is to just remove all traces of it from the source and forget that it ever existed.
